A puppet-making workshop based on Klee's hand puppets.

In this weekend workshop, artistic puppets are created that resemble Dadaist collages. Based on Klee's hand puppets, they look on the one hand like sculptural objects and on the other like theater figures that want to be brought to life. Like our role model Paul Klee, we use various materials for the design: plaster, sockets, beads, nails, shaving brushes, nutshells and more. We make the clothes from scraps of fabric or pieces of old clothing. We give the finished figure an "impenetrable name" and playfully explore the resulting character. In addition to the craft of puppet making, we will develop a contemporary, imaginative puppet theater at the end of the two-day workshop, which we will present to friends and family.

Two weeks before the start of the course, we will inform you by email whether the course has reached the minimum number of participants. If the course cannot take place, you will be refunded the course fee.
